Most all car/truck insurance covers any trailer you are pulling… now that means any damage the trailer does, it does not pay for the trailer. I pull trailers (have 2 different ones) and in an accident that is my fault, the trailer and it contents are my problem, insurance wil not pay me.. but will pay for any damage it causes to others (should say the car/truck insurance pays).. If I want full coverage I will have to buy the extra insurance. Check with your insurance company to make sure yours will pay the same way.
